I always list this as one of the most significant books I've ever read. (Another is J. Gresham Machen's What Is Faith?)
I've preached around this neighborhood countless times. Indeed, a terrifically important book.

I had a chance to talk to Gary on the phone a couple of times. He told me it took 8 years to right that book. It was so different from what has been traditionally taught...he had to check it out over and over again. In the end, it is so Biblically solid, I recommend it constantly, without hesitation!
