What is Bishop Hubbard going to do now ?

What is Bishop Howard Hubbard going to do now, since his corrupt side-kick DA Paul Clyne will be vacating his office ? Clyne drops out Updated: 10/29/2004 4:47 PM By: Edward Muir

Fighting till the end, DA Paul Clyne withdrew from the race for re-election, criticizing David Soares as he went down.

"I'm doing this for one simple reason: that I believe it is fundamentally important that David Soares not be elected District Attorney. I believe he is a dangerous person," Clyne said.

Clyne made the announcement with Roger Cusick at his side. The Democrat Clyne is throwing his support behind the Republican Cusick and they will campaign together this weekend. Clyne feels he and Soares were splitting the Democratic vote, and he hopes Democrats who supported him will now vote for Cusick.

"If I were to stay in this race, it will ensure that he will be elected," Clyne said.

Candidate Roger Cusick said, "I think what's going to happen is you'll see Mr. Soares and his supporters are isolated."

David Soares said he is not surprised by Clyne's withdrawal, nor Cusick's endorsement, and he brushed aside Clyne's criticism.

"It's not personal with Mr. Clyne and I. He may feel that it's personal, but I don't. This is about a different philosophical approach to fighting crime," Soares said.

Clyne and Cusick said there was no backroom dealing to arrange this endorsement, but not everyone is so sure.

Clyne drops out

Albany County DA Paul Clyne has dropped out of the race for re-election. He has endorsed Republican candidate Roger Cusick.

Assemblyman Jack McEneny said, "I have always heard that there were those trying to get one candidate or the other to back out, and now we've seen it."

Albany Common Council President Helen Desfosses said, "I think there was a lot of cooperation, collusion between the Clyne campaign, the Cusick campaign. I think they've been double-teaming David all along."

Clyne believes his political life is now over. He now said he'll do all he can to make sure Roger Cusick's is just beginning.

I don't need any proof, corruption between the Albany Diocese and the Local Government has been going on for many years.... Anyone can see.... Why did the DA Clyne sidestep Bishop Hubbards case ? Why did the DA Clyne sidestep the many priests that sexually abused children in this area ? Why did the DA Clyne sidestep Father Minkler's death ? Why did DA Greenburg and Clyne both sidestep the grave issue concerning childrens deaths and severe abuse at St. Colman's Home ?

Ernest has an axe to grind

What if it is legitimate or partly so?

Where was the church for that family in the 1950's? Kids yanked into an orphanage, mother put somewhere where she eventually died, don't know what was going on with the father, extended family probably lacked resources to help.

Today there may have been better help for his mother due to advances in treatment of some things, etc., etc., etc.

The secular world has now more protection in place for orphaned children than the church had. There are more cases of children being mistreated in catholic/state institutions coming to light every day.

I was with a patient who has made somewhat of a success of his life. His family home burned down, alcoholism involved, priest literally tied him up and threw him in the car and hauled him off to Boys' Town. Didn't hear accounts of any abuse while there. When he grew up and got out and went to marry, he told a priest to "Go to hell". Who could blame him after being treated with such "compassion".

The only reason these things are not happening so much today is that there are checks and balances to the church's and other institutional power in this country. Things still aren't pretty, but at least children have advocates.

Unless you've walked in his shoes, let him have his axe. One day I hope he can be free of what happened to him. It's still a free country with free speech. He has the courage to post under his own name.

Shame upon you! May God have pity on your soul for daring to defend the homosexual apostate Hubbard!

His record - as Ernest Michael has all too well pointed out - is of such gravity that in another era he would have been burned at the stake - and rightly so!

You have shown by your postings that you are but a shill for every leberal, USCCB approved gay/apostate cause celebre in AMchurch. You flip-flop back and forth so much that it is impossible to tell exactly WHAT tenets of the Catholic fiath you do indeed hold - if you hold any of them at all!

Shame upon you!

People aren't guilty until proven guilty in a court of law. Bishops could remove those unfit. But to castigate an entire order of nuns for something that may or may not have been done by a small minority is not right either. Some of those nuns led lives of sacrifice for children, and to paint them all with the same brush is calumny which I cannot participate in. Even if I have some gut reactions, I can't go runnning off at the mouth and bash people I don't really know one way or the other if they are really guilty.

I fear we won't know the whole truth until Judgement Day, and we all won't necessarily be privy to that.

In the meantime, I and I hope others on this forum will pray for you and your family and hope you find peace. Gilbert is a little saint no matter how you cut it.

I just hope you are able to find peace without destroying innocent people in the process.

I cannot take sides because I am at a loss to properly evaluate the facts that have been presented, and think you are fighting a losing battle. If anyone really thought your case had substance they would have smelled blood in the water and come forward to offer their services.

It's too bad you can't find a way to let it go. Maybe you could talk to a deacon down in Texas and he would treat you with compassion and try to find you appropriate help. I really can't help but to wonder how you would be treated by him if you went to him asking for help with this problem.

Nobody is going to go out on a limb for you, mainly because they can't without possibly joining in false accusations. We simply cannot know for sure. Even if I sat on a jury, I would have a hard time with what you have presented. It could be interpreted a lot of different ways.

Fighting on the internet and accusing people by name isn't my thing. I just wanted you to know that I care about what happened to you, your family, and your little brother.

If it is true what you allege, I hope justice prevails in this world and the next.

.......and you sir need a good dose of sound Catholic teaching......or a trip to the woodshed!

All anger on here directed at you is due to the most shameful things you have done: belittling others, making insulting personal remarks, making arguments against Catholic teachings and church discipline - and belittleing those who endeavor to support such tradition, doctrine, and discipline.

If you desire to endrose every liberal/socialist inspired/gay agenda, then you are free to do so. But then do not refer to yourself as a deacon, nor as a Roman Catholic. Nor as a Christian.

I have observed time and time again that my Protestant bretheren on here can argue a point without resorting to personal insults......in a civil manner, and even remain as friends with persons like myself.

You would seem to thrive on attacking others, without shame - and entering threads to cause disruption.

Such an attitude is all too typical of the modernist cleric, the atheistic/socialist/new age psychiatrist or counselor, or the facilitator. It is all too typical of those who persecuted Christians in the past, and will again in the future.

So now.....please do tell me......if Catholics/Christians were to be rounded up and confined to concentration camps, would you be with the rest of us inside the barbed wire, suffering for Christ?

It is my recollection that some of the most sadistic guards in the German camps of WWII were the Jewish ones, who inflicted great suffereing on their own people.....as their job, to save their own skins.

Quo vadis, Sinkspur?

You're thinking is a mess, thor.

And you, of all people, have a lot of nerve accusing someone ELSE of being insulting.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

You have my full support for your assrtions. Hubbard has been and is nothing but a gay leftist facilitator masquerading as a Catholic Bishop. He has destroyed the spiritual and sacramental life of the Albany diocese.

All of that has been well documented in all too many places. Also true regarding the connivance reagrding local law enforcement and politicians.

Anyone who calls for "compassion" for Hubbard, or speaks about having respect for him, is greatly akin to one who speaks of having great concern and compassion for nuns who have given their lives for........oh give me a break!

Most major orders of nuns - and the overhwhelming number of their membership went crazy post V2. they burned their bras (literally or figuratively), lost their faith en masse, and taugh heresy to our children. A substantial number of them have joined the lunatic fringe of radical lesbian feminism - with wiccan based rites.

Those who are guilty of this are now the "elderly poor old nuns". I am supposed to feel sorry for them? I am supposed to repect their "selfless contribution"?

I dont & wont...and neither should you. Most of those who were any good left those orders, or have long since passed away. Any genuine vocations went to the plethora of newer, smaller, orthodox orders started in recent years.

While I would in charity advise you to seek out God in prayer amd ask for his divine consolation, you most certainly have every right to your anger.

First I want to thank you for responding to my post. There are obviously very good people who know about our tortures, but have no understanding of how difficult it is to lose a little brother to murder and beating.

I am truly not seeking to destroy decent caring people. But all of us have the God-given right and
the Constitutionally-guaranteed right to the benefits of the system of Justice. I do not want to castigate an entire order of nuns for what some of them did. But it must be admitted that if there are truly a number of innocent, good, and upright nuns, they would or should take the lead in bringing real Truth to my family about our little Gilbert. The "good nuns" could help make right what was done by the others.

I mean to cause no harm, but I must do what is right while searching for the Justice that has been pushed aside by the Albany County District Attorney's office, and especially by Bishop Howard Hubbard, who oversees the Albany Diocese. I believe that Bishop Hubbard himself knows of the murder of my little brother. I believe that Bishop Hubbard knows of the beatings and sufferings of many little children, and has altered and/or hidden the records of those incidents.

In spite of the hardships you might find because I am looking for justice for my murdered brother Gilbert, I intend to continue to do what is necessary to expose the truth and to expose the lies of Bishop Hubbard.

I am sorry that you feel you have been caused grief, but I beg you to stop and think of the grief that my family and I have had to endure. My crusade for justice must continue, and even Bishop Hubbard and his colleagues cannot be exempt.

Thank you, Aliska, for your hopes for our family and for your prayers for our peace. Most of all, thank you for knowing that Gilbert is a little saint now.

Thank you for hoping that we get Justice. I wish you all the best of what you need also.

Sincerely,
Ernest

You are quite welcome.

Anyone who is at all aware of what has been going on in hte Albany Diocese since 1977, knows that Hubbard is an apostate heretic, an active homosexual - who is quite proactive in personal and diocesan policies toward radical gay amd feminist agendas, favoring them in the extreme. That he has protected and promoted gay priests - and done the same with accused sexual predators, including hiding them via reassignment. This is not accidental - it is a clear pattern of something which Hubbard does willingly, knwoingly, consciosly, and in connivance.

This "Bishop" is very obviously not a friend of the Lord Jesus. Rather he has clearly demonstrated by his actions that he is a willing servitor of the Evil One.

In his case, as in all such cases of spiritually and morall depraved priests, praying for his conversion. would be wise.

But praying for his speedy removal, either by heart attack, or papal bull, is also entirely justified.
