Homosexual Agenda Ping.

I wish I didn't have to ping this out to everyone. In another way, it's even more vile than the article about the homo-pedophile "foster father". Why, one might ask? Since this article doesn't have specific sexual perversions and horrible crimes against children detailed?

Answer: Because this is the promotion of such crimes, through the medium of what should be holy, obedient, pure, and indeed, sanctifying. What does "religion" really mean?

Religion really means the eternal relationship between God and the individual soul. Anything that helps that relationship of loving surrender (on our part) to grow, is real religion. Violating the basic rules of morality that God Himself has given us and promoting such violation - IN THE NAME OF ALL THAT IS HOLY - is blasphemy of the worst sort.

The homosexual activists who are doing their best to pervert what should be holy, are doing terrible harm to many, many people. People who are just plain ignorant will be more and more confused about what is right and what is wrong, who God is, what His instructions are, and how to follow them.

I hope that more and more Catholics will stand up with those who pray the rosary against this flagrant hypocrisy and sickness.

Question for Catholics: Could a non-Catholic join the rosary prayers to show support?

Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.

You've got the motivation all wrong. When the moral & sexual perverts get what they want, they'll drop the churches and their Christian facades like the athiests they truly are.

Perhaps. I see the battle in more of a sense of not human agents (though they are the visible sign), but rather as the main battle between good and evil.

Furthermore, I hope not too tin foil-ly, I believe there is a concerted effort by power mongers in shadowy places to rid the Church of it's influence, in order to control a more docile populace. Marx said that religion is the opiate of the masses, but he was wrong. Modern marxists correctly perceive the true spiritual animation and activity of Christianity to foil their plans.

Gay rights is merely another battering ram and trojan horse for the weakening of the Church.

It is not about gays having a place to call home, as a church. They have that already. It is about you and me totally capitulating to their threats, and being afraid to lift your voice against their evil.

Precisely.

An excerpt from: The Overhauling of Straight America:

"While public opinion is one primary source of mainstream values, religious authority is the other. When conservative churches condemn gays, there are only two things we can do to confound the homophobia of true believers. First, we can use talk to muddy the moral waters. This means publicizing support for gays by more moderate churches, raising theological objections of our own about conservative interpretations of biblical teachings, and exposing hatred and inconsistency. Second, we can undermine the moral authority of homophobic churches by portraying them as antiquated backwaters, badly out of step with the times and with the latest findings of psychology. Against the mighty pull of institutional Religion one must set the mightier draw of Science and Public Opinion (the shield and word of that accursed 'secular humanism').

Such an unholy alliance has worked well against churches before, on such topics as divorce and abortion. With enough open talk about the prevalence and acceptability of homosexuality, that alliance can work again here..."

Well they need to go elsewhere and not the Catholic Church. They need to get a life or do something besides bug Catholics and make everyone conform to their way of life.

If you don't want the gays and liberals to take over the Catholic Church, then you need to react to abuses you see.

For example, when the Episcopal Bishop of Olympia procured an active homosexual for the cathedral dean, instead of Biblically faithful Episcopalians chasing the homo and the bishop out with pitchforks and torches, as they should, they sat around and complained while the Seattle libs just thought it was soooo tolerant to have a gay priest and his boyfriend profaning the sanctuary. Conservatives wondered why a few years later, they were ordaining a gay bishop.

Jesus said that the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church, but He didn't say hell was closed or the devil wouldn't move a few of his own in to torment us.

Also as before, at the side of the cathedral Brian O’Neill handed out sashes to the pro-homosexual protesters. He told Prather of the Pioneer Press that they were demanding that the Catholic Church stop the "spiritual violence" against homosexuals and bisexuals.

"It’s important we be here and speak the truth and not be intimidated by the victories of conservatives," he stated. O’Neill further commented that the Church "calls us evil. They call us objectively disordered. We strongly oppose that kind of language."

I know I'm just a straight white male who think queers are an abomination, but does anyone care that I "strongly oppose" the kind of language that claims the Church has committed "spiritual violence" against queers?

If you don't like what the Catholic Church has to say, join the Episcopal Church. If you believe the Catholic Church is special it's because she is G-d's instrument for grace in this world what she says in His name must be accepted as truth.

Either way, the rainbow sashayers are dead wrong.

Shalom.

Another 'catholic' priest who doesn't believe in the Real Presence. Any priest who invites those in a state of mortal sin to receive Holy Communion can't possible believe in the Real Presence.

Well, any priest who doesn't take a big step backward while the "communicant" takes the host doesn't, anyway.

I've always been of the opinion that G-d could handle Himself when it came to issues such as not abusing the Holy Sacrament. However, I would not want to be between Him and somebody who's mistreated Him so.

His patience and grace constantly amaze me.

Shalom.
