Why make such a fuss over something that is not true? Lots of stuff has been printed over the years that isn't true. Two problems; Brown states in the Forward, I believe, that evrything in the book is true or accurate, I don';t have it in front me. And two, people are taking him at his word.
Now they obviously shouldn't do that with this or anything else, but they are.

There's a good book out there that blasts all this called the Da Vinci Hoax.
Interesting that the Catholic haters have swarmed to this thread...do they support the content in the Da Vinci Code about Jesus marrying Mary Magdalen and all that crap?
