When I saw this article's headline I really expected the usual stuff about how christians need to be involved in the debate to bring their gifts of 'holy listening' and reinforce the 'sacred right to choose' to terminate their pregancy.
Much to my joy it appears that Rowan Williams may have a genuine orthodox streak in him. The whole recent controversy has to have taken its toll on the man. I don't know what his position on abortion was previously, but this current stance may be something I could live with.
Whatever pain the struggles may have caused, God is at work in the Anglican Communion.
