There's been much talk on the news part of this forum so why not try prayer for these people.
At this point prayer is all we can offer this poor family and of course Terri.
Let's do our best to give them this.
" O Lord..give us help from trouble,
for the help of man is useless
Through God, we will do valiantly
For it is He who shall tread down our enemies".
Psalm 60:11,12
2Timothy 4: 6-8
For I am even now ready to be sacrificed: and the time of my dissolution is at hand. I have fought a good fight: I have finished my course: I have kept the faith.
As to the rest, there is laid up for me a crown of justice which the Lord the just judge will render to me in that day: and not only to me, but to them also that love his coming.
Is Theresa Terri's real name. There's been only 4 posts. Hum
Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me. John 14:1
I pray that Jesus will help poor Terri Schindler.
God, your grace, mercy and peace be upon Terri and her family.
Dear Lord -- Please provide peace to Terri's brother, sister, father and touch deeply her mother. Please also touch those that may have a slight inclination to turn from the belief that this is just and humane. We ask this in Your name.
I am sure there has been much prayer along with the reality of this case being discussed. In fact, there have been many prayers expressed on here.
Dear Heavenly Father, the Creator of us all,
I ask you to come and wrap your loving arms around the Schindler family, the mother, the father, and their offspring, and other family memebers. Give us love and compassion for them in their time of great suffering. Give them peace, Oh Lord, for they have walked the Last Mile of the Way, with a daughter that they loved, and the can go no farther.
Nearly two thousand years ago, another mother watched her child die at the hands of evil men, and I am sure that she did not understand why. It is sheer pain and agony for a parent to watch their child die, at the hands of other people, who do not care about their sufferings. But one day Jesus will come, and we will understand it all bye and bye.
Before Jesus went away he asked us to love others as he has loved us. So help us Lord to understand, and hold fast until you come. There is a better home awaiting. Amen
