Since I don't know which one it is that the boyfriend goes to, I guess I am at a disadvantage. I do know they are required to attend three nights a week....women don't pray in public...and if they get married, she has to consent to raising the children in the church.

You can definitely rule out the UNITED Church of Christ. They have women lesbian ministers.

Doesn't sound like Church of Christ to me.

Women are free to pray anywhere - same as men. A Church service is held on Wednesday nights and there may be other activities on other nights - but attendance is not mandatory.

And the raising the children in the church is not mandatory in the regular Church of Christ.

Look in the Church of Christ we believe in Jesus and follow him. Therefore, of course, we want children raised in the church - who would not? But, nothing is mandatory. Each person follows Christ on his own path.

The Church will teach the truth as found in the Bible period. What the Christians do with it, is between them and God. Now, the more faithful will be extremely conscientious and live as they feel they are expected to do. All of us answer to God and follow Jesus. The Church is just a local body of believers attempting to do the same.
