He has good info about many "cults" or groups that employ mind control techniques. My husband grew up CoC and I've seen enough of the Boston Movement to be horrified.
How did you husband come out of the COC? Would you mind sharing that with me even by email?
The Boston Movement is an aberration of the Church of Christ.
I don't know much about them as I have never seen the actual movement. Yet - it has done untold harm to the Church.
From the little I know - they come into an area and spread their teachings (which I believe tend to be cultlike) and spread. I don't know if they infiltrate actual established churches and turn them or if they just set up new ones.
I really watch what my Church of Christ teaches because of this and have actually left one because I was always worrying if they were deviating and becoming more and more liberal with their teachings.
