The only thing this week's vote will do is possibly alert a few more ELCA members as to what their denomination became a very long time ago.
It's ironic that this issue now seems to be the straw that will break the camel's back. Haven't ELCA members been paying any attention to what's been happening?
My husband and I left 13 years ago. It was so bad then, we got out.
My hope is that I can help to spread the word as to what is really happening to those folks who have been asleep at the wheel for so long. Of course, some folks don't care as long as it is not happening during their one hour on Sunday.
