Yes, but the David mentioned in those verses is a symbol for Christ. He has taken up His place on the Father's right hand, ie, assumed the throne. David will be great in heaven no doubt about it, but from the beginning he knew another was to come.

Amen. I don't think we can err when we fall on the side of believing all goodness and virtue, whether in the OT or NT, is from Christ by Christ for Christ.
