Dear NYer:
Sounds like you’re in for a bit of a health challenge. I’m new to FRep and have met so many wonderful people so far. Am especially concerned that you will regain your full health and for that reason, lift you up in prayer to Almighty God.
Blessings,
Jane
Great news that you are home. Continued prayers for a speedy recovery. May the Lord Bless you.
Thanks for the update. I’m so glad you are home—that’s the very best place to recover.
Prayers for your continued and complete healing.
NYer, I have just heard of your illness. I am pleased to hear you are home and recovering and am praying for your speedy and full recovery. I’ve been away from the computer for several days, and had, seemingly out of the blue, been thinking of you over the weekend, but had not had a chance to see my pings. God Bless and be assured of my continued prayers.
God Bless & Take Care!!!
I'll take it :-) Actually, the hospital chaplain, a Catholic, stopped by each day and prayed over me the same way. When he asked if I would like to receive communion, I assued him that my pastor would stop by. He seemed surprised by the response. Hey, this is Albany ;-) That was on Saturday and I don't think the chaplain had gone very far before Abouna walked in, sat down, and took out the chrism for a healing blessing. But Father had a mad drive to a wedding in CT in yesterday's storm and left immediately after Mass so I graciously accepted to receive from the hospital's EMHC, on Sunday.
God bless them all. They are sincere in their faith.
My prayers for you will continue until you are well. Keep us posted and get well soon.
Am so happy you’re at home. Hospitals can be dangerous places — especially with an infection. Please keep us informed as to the diagnosis and your eventual prognosis. We’ll all keep praying for you and for your doctors.
May God’s blessings be upon you, and speed your healing!
Every kindness extended to you is a testimony of the immense impact you have on people......even people you have met only recently.
I have found that kindness, goodness, sincerity, morality and holiness are outwardly visible in a person, as I am certain they are in you.
I pray that the Divine Healer will continue to hold your hand during your recovery.
God bless,
EODGUY
I'll keep up the prayers for your speedy recovery. You're not out of the woods yet, my friend.

Never have I met NYer, likely I never will. Her posts have edified me, uplifted me and inspired me. I hope and pray that her posts will do so for decades to come. Please pray with me for her complete recovery. Her witness to our faith is incomparable. Her need is real. May Our Lady watch over her and grant her every Grace and Blessing now in this time of need and for all of her days.
So good to hear from you. What a crazy accident! We’ll continue to ask St. Raphael to see to your complete healing.
I’m glad you’re getting better. May God bless you.
God bless, and keep getting better, NYer. And thank you for all your efforts on FR!
