I have a master of arts degree from Concordia University-Chicago; bachelor of arts also from Concordia; paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and have had a private counseling practice since 1990.

I enjoy reading and writing; wrote newspaper columns several years ago for local weeklies; I enjoy bringing humor to my writing. My first job was in a library -- go figure.

I have been married to Quint for 30 years. We share a deep faith in God and are members of the Lutheran church. Both Quint and I are very conservative. Sometimes you will see posts from him. He was an analytical research chemist for 38 years until he retired to do the business stuff in our practice.
