Oh Jeff, I lift you and your beloved father up to God. Do not despair - life is still life, and death is not the end.
When my father was 70, they told him he had three months to live. That day, on the way home from the hospital, my mother wept as she said she wished he could see just one more spring.
Not only did he see one more spring, he lived 15 months - long enough to live through my pregnancy and speak the name of our son.
My son was born on the day of my father’s funeral; that 15 months made all the difference. Never give up, for life is still life, and death is not the end...
