I was a FReeper long before joining CAF. I thought that some of us were making headway there to bring tradition back to the parishes. The owners worked against us.
I would use the term, historically Catholic. Handholding is not historically Catholic, genuflecting is. I always said that being Catholic means many flavors but all of us deserve the flavor that we like. You cannot subject all of us to innovation without one historically Catholic liturgy per Vicariate. It’s only fair. If you want a Charismatic liturgy, cool. Give me my Holy Mass with all the smells and bells sprinkled with Latin and we’ll call it square.
