Sorry resty. I’ve studied about many cults, Mormonism included. From the perspective of the Bible, Mormonism is a cult, and according to the Standard by which people are to judge whether or not their belief falls according to that which Jesus would say is Truth, Mormonism is not of the Truth.
That is not according to your dictionary definition, it is according to Jesus Christ.
