Sorry, guys, you must have missed the third Commandment to “Keep holy the Lord’s Day.” In Catholic talk, that means going to Mass every week. Otherwise you will be in a state of mortal sin, because you skipped Mass on purpose!

But don’t you know there is no such thing as mortal sin any more? And even if there were, is missing Mass really all that serious? What if you don’t “get anything” out of going? What if the “institutional” Church has somehow “hurt” you, do you still have to go to Mass? Who are you to judge these wonderful, caring, feeling people who love the faith—what little of it they have—but not the Mass? You must be one of those people who clings to his religion!
