Oh my gosh, I just read that, interesting. It seems like someone did mention Mother Angelica over the past few days, we’ve had so much coverage I don’t remember what commentator. She did almost miraculously build EWTN, if you have not read Arroyo’s book about her, very, very interesting what she had to go through. It’s also impressive the station has remained a bastion of orthodoxy, and I hope it will.
Fr. Neuhaus is a real intellectual. His magazine, First Things, has deep articles on matters of faith and the Church. But I never knew until this coverage he is a convert! Seems EWTN did a good job asking him to participate, he explained so many things that many people would not know about on the surface.
I haven’t read Arroyo’s bio of Mother Angelica. I have read her “Little Book of Life Lessons and Everyday Spirituality” which he edited. I intend to re-read it.
Having just been confirmed in the Catholic faith this Easter Vigil, I feel that my formation is just beginning!
