These were the questions I asked, but you seem to have described a church that you used to go to. Which type of Baptist church do you attend now?
Which fundamentalist baptist church do you belong to?
Since you are a practicing Baptist, how did you come to have such little influence in your home that your wife and your children are Catholics?
I can see why you were confused at my post.
I said I "freqently take" my kids to Catholic Church, but I meant to say I "frequently took" my kids to Catholic Church.
My grown son lives in California and goes to a Baptist Church out there.
My grown daughter, and her three kids, used to attend Calvary Baptist Church, but then went to another Baptist Church in the town nearby.
Now she usually goes to Christian Life Center with me each week. They have a great Sunday School for the kids.
At six, four, and two -- they say their prayers before meals (usually, anyway) and constantly talk about God doing this or God doing that.
It is so cute, and heartwarming that they are getting a good foundation. It is so important to give kids a head start in learning God's Word.
I've heard thousands of sermons over my life, and I can say definitively that you could not tell the difference between a sermon at my old Baptist Church and the Christian Life Center I attend now.
They are both fundmentalist, in my view.
Both honor our servicemen, police, firefighters twice a year in special services.
Both openly support the US efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
No acceptance of "different lifestyles" or nonsense like that.
Strictly the Word of God, and urging all to be Born Again.
Our pastor of 15 years just retired, and is heading to India to help start new churches over there.
Our new Pastor is exceptionally fabulous, and so grounded in the Bible...
