His was the very model of an integrated life — the same person in public as in private, the same person on Sunday as on Wednesday, and the same person playing as working.

I can attest to this quality. Several years ago, I was attending the CPAC conference in Washington DC. Since I was a regular at the Tony Snow Radio Thread, he issued an open invitation for anyone who wished to, to come visit him at the Fox Studios.

I took up his gracious offer. Dinosaur and I were escorted us(by surfer boy, aka Griff) through the studio to Tony's office.

Tony greeted us, and we sat down for over an hour talking about everything under the sun. But our longest discussion was about our families.

He was so proud of his children who had just gotten their report cards and had done so very well.

The walls of his office were filled with photos of his family and framed drawing his children had done for him.

After the chat, Tony gave us the tour of the studio. Unfortunately that is where I somewhat embarrassed myself later by posting a comment about Major Garrett in jean and a ball cap - The Snowflakes didn't let me live that one down. THUD

He even let us hang out in his studio while he did a Vermont Teddy Bear commercial.
