I can't help but wonder why you didn't ping every Mod on Free Republic to the thread titled The Protestant Heresy. So my question is are you really concerned about a double standard or just screaming foul when something makes you squeamish?

There is a difference between a reasoned analysis by a well-known conservative author like Hilaire Belloc and a scurrilous packet of garish lies.

There are plenty of strong criticisms of the Papacy as an institution by reputable Reformed authors like a Sproul or a John Murray.

If the conversation begins in the gutter, it will not be edifying.
