I am just an pretty normal guy, average in almost every way. I am a Christian, not always a good one, but I am really trying lately. I have always wanted to be used by God and be in the center of his will.

I was typing a message to a friend about a month ago, he asked me if I thought John McCain would win the election this year. As I was writing this reply, I started to just keep typing as things just came into my mind, it was almost like I could not type fast enough. These were things that I have never thought before, and some things that I have thought about, but could never piece together. So basically, I have to believe that God was speaking to me, telling what I needed to write down.

I really don't know what to do with this information. I don't want to appear as some self-appointed prophet...cause I don't think that's true. Nor do I want to draw ANY attention to myself. I want this to be completely from God's mouth to the ears of anyone who wants to listen. I don't claim to really understand some of this at all. I suppose some people might think I have a very good imagination, but I really don't.

But I really do feel that what follows is what God has told me. Something like this has never happened to me before, and might not again. But as I was writing this, I felt the Holy Spirit speaking to me. As I was driving a few hours later, things were still just popping into my head. I have to leave myself voicemails so I would not forget this stuff.

It is my hope and belief that by getting this out on the internet, it will be out there for the times when people need this information. I trust that God will somehow lead people to it when there is no where else for them to turn. I believe that tough and pretty scary times are just around the corner. The world as we know it on Oct 4, 2008 is not going to last forever.

What follows is exactly what I had started typing a month and a half ago. I believe that I started to hear the God kind of speaking to me about the third paragraph. After I post this and get it out into cyberspace, I don’t know what will become of it…most people will say I am nuts for sure.

There must have been a reason that this happened..I have never felt like God has actually spoke to me before, so this is weird for me too. I did write this before the election, I can’t prove it. I was too chicken to post this then. I am not predicting when this stuff is going to happen, just thoughts that came to me. I am not arrogant enough to think that I am the only person that God speaks to either, I have read stuff like this on other web sites, but I think the difference between those and what I wrote is that I really have no agenda at all. I am just a guy who wants to do the right thing and serve God that best way I know how. So if you want to call me nuts that’s ok, cause when this was happening to me, I thought that to.

“ I don't know..if you would have asked me a couple of weeks ago, I would have said probably, know I say maybe, maybe not. My gut tells me it's gonna be close, but if I were to put money on it right now I would give Obama the edge.

I hope that McCain is sitting on something big, a real October Surprise. Without something that would be a game changer as they say, I am worried.

But God has a plan, and what I think is best for the country might not be what God thinks is best for his Kingdom. After all, we are only visitors here, our real home is in heaven...

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately, things swirling around in my head, trying to play connect the dots. I am starting to really understand now that what we see right now, in our country and in the world is only 1 square inch of a much larger picture. God sees that picture, in fact he painted it...we are really pretty clueless as to how God is gonna fulfill his ultimate plan, except we do have a roadmap in the Bible.

Think of it this way...this whole world, our whole existence, the whole universe is a puzzle, and as God begins to put the puzzle together, we can start to see the whole picture instead of just a bunch of separate puzzle pieces that in a pile, unconnected, meaning little or nothing to us.

Anyone who takes the time to look back and start to pay attention to what is going on can start to see the whole picture taking shape. As we read and study God's plan as in the bible, prophecy, revelation, end times sort of stuff, there are certain things that have to happen before Jesus comes back.

1. There will be one world government and one world currency.

The reason to get rid of paper money is this...with paper money there is no audit trail, you can go into a store and buy a can of soda with a 5 dollar bill, no one knows who you are or where you are or anything about you. When we start to use things like debit cards, there is always a record of where you are, what you are buying...if someone wanted to keep track of a person, see what they were doing, what they were buying, it would be pretty easy by just tracking your daily and weekly purchases. Where you go and what you buy can tell a lot about a person.. Private investigators can glean massive amounts of information about a person by going through their trash. Bank records are like that too.

This is where the “mark of the beast” comes in ...my timeline might be off here for that I apologize, I am just writing down what is coming to me. Debit cards are good, but some company will come out with a new SMART card that not only carries your bank information, but includes your medical information, your police record, everything about you. Our current drivers license’s have a mag stripe on the back...why not just get ONE card that carries all this information It's your TOTAL ID. Then it's only a short step I think until someone decides that SMART cards are great, but they can be stolen, lost, etc. Why not put all this information INSIDE a person, where it can't be lost. Where are most obvious places to put a chip like this? A persons right hand or forehead. All you have to do to buy a can of soda is to run youir hand under a scanner...I mean how much easier is it than that? You go to the movies, you run your hand under a scanner, you go to the grocery store..same thing..fast and easy. Maybe you need access to a building…you just walk up to the door and proximity reader can read that chip in your person and the door opens. I mean simple stuff, you know, just the progress of technology. What these things will mean to most people are more ways to be productive, waste less time in line at the store. Unless you really take the time to think about this, its just another great innovation.

2. The rise of an anti-christ

Now while all these new technologies are coming together, there will be a world leader, a visionary, someone who stirs people's emotions, someone who oozes leadership and strength. This is probably the anti-christ. ..Could it be Barack Obama? I don't think so. God does not lead me to believe that...it's too early yet. But someone like him for sure. Where will he come from, God is not really telling me..I have heard and read Europe, maybe a new Rome of some sort, but that’s my own guess I think.

There is not any compelling reason yet go to a one world type of government, but there will start to be a movement in which people believe that this is the only way to stop the violence and war that is going to start to occur all over the world. This is "wars and rumors of wars" you read about in God's world. Somehow the muslim religion, terrorism, all what we are dealing with now is a part of this. God is using or allowing terrorism, this war on terrorism to happen in order to get the ball rolling on this part of his plan.

In order to feel safe, people of the world will start to demand protection, someone or something that can put an end to the terrorism. A leader, somewhat known but not yet revealed, the anti-christ will seize on this...he will be so smooth and just plain awesome that people will just flock to him. He will offer his inspired plan and leadership, the world will just literally fall in love with this guy.

Somehow the worlds economic woes will also be a part of this, this is how the anti-christ will be able to push the idea of a single world currency, debit based no actual paper money anymore. The current financial crisis will probably be the catalyst for this in a couple of ways. I know many people won’t want to hear this and I hope I am wrong, I really do. But, I think that this mess we are in puts Obama over the top. I really don’t feel that McCain is going to win the election. That could change I pray, I will continue to pray for that.

Obama is already very effectively pinning this mess on McCain and the Republicans, it’s an awfully hard road to overcome the lies, especially with the media totally in the tank for Obama. It’s a close election, probably some kind of cheating, but in the end, Obama is our next and I think probably last president of the United States, not because he is assassinated, no one wants that, but because the United States pretty much ceases to exist, at least as we know it now.

I think it’s inevitable that the United States becomes more and more socialistic, but it can’t be all at once, it has to be little by little. Kind of like how when you have a itchy scab, you usually don’t scratch it open all at once, but little by little and before you know it, you have a bloody sore. Half of the population of the US did not vote for this man, so the outcry would be too great if he forces things like universal health care, universal housing, etc all at once. By doing things little by little, one baby step at a time, people will become more and more dependant of the government. Even people who did not support or vote for him will lose their resolve to speak up. Eventually, no one protests as Obama does more and more until we are ready to accept a “world leader” of some sort.

If some world leader came around right now and started to suggest a unified world government, he would get no traction. But with the right propaganda and with motives that seem good, people will go along with giving away more and more of their freedoms if they think it will keep them safe and happy. The old frog in boiling water thing. Remember, there are wars starting, terrorism all over the place, it seems like there is nowhere safe anymore. Barack Obama is more than willing to talk to anyone, play the role of the thoughtful and insightful leader. He starts to abdicate more and more of our freedoms for the sake of security. With the world one big happy family, borders in name only, people heavily dependant on the government for just about everything, the time would be right for a new, fresh face, someone to lead the world into peace and safety.

The world is already one big global economy if you think about it. Japan and countries in Europe own most of the large companies that used to be strictly American. It will then make sense at some point for the world to drift to a single world currency and central banking system. An new currency of some kind is created, world heritage sites on the back, current leaders of the world on the front. As I said before, cash will go away, cards become the norm, from these SMART cards to the mark does not take long. But how will the world be forced to give up cash currency?

Many people still like to see the money in their hands. Well that very money will start to spread disease of some kind. Become some kind of health risk. We all know that paper money is the dirtiest thing you can touch…so some weird new virus will be traced to the money that we will all use or this just hit me, maybe it‘s not a virus on money at all, maybe it‘s spread some other way, but this is a good excuse and a good time to go to cashless.. Hey, great idea, lets just do away with money…money is just numbers in some bank anyway…you can get by without ever having to touch cash again. Plastic becomes king, and from there, it’s as I mentioned before..the mark of the beast order will be given at some point You can’t easily buy or sell anything, food, water, anything without it. There will be people who fight this idea, but not many, most will be so enthralled with this man, his new plan, his answer to any problem, they would do anything he says, including getting the mark.

I don't feel that we are to that point yet, but I do feel that Barack Obama is the gateway to this anti-christ, he is kind of greasing the skids, preparing the way…unknowingly I think, he does not realize he is a pawn in a much larger plan. God knows this is all going to happen and it all has to happen. But right now there are too many Christians out there now that still believe in the Word of God, read the Word of God. Understand the word of God, they can understand and read the signs of the times. Well meaning Christians try to will try to tell people what is going on, try to make the unbelieving world understand, but no one listens, everyone is too focused on themselves, parties, living it up, self pleasure, getting rich.

Us Christians have always been annoying, but now they we are starting to become a real pain. Things will be done to silence this annoying chatter from the religious right and conservatives. The fairness doctrine will be revived, effectively taking both religious talk, music, Rush, Hannity, etc off the air. Out of sight and sound, out of mind.

Schools will continue to teach evolution, deny the existence of God to children, as is already being done. You are labeled a fool if you believe in anything but evolution. Alternative lifestyles will be taught to kids as not only acceptable, but even preferable, certainly nothing wrong with it. It’s your body, your life, do with it what you want. Abortion is already making that idea normal and legal…it’s a women’s body, she can do what she wants.

The family as we know it is being destroyed from within and without. Divorce, infidelity, weird kinds of marriages, two people, three people, four people and a dog…you name it cause everything goes.

Christian people believe that the only way to shelter their children at this point is to take them out of or move them to private Christian schools. The powers that be start to realize that this is not good, these home schooled kids are not getting s “quality” education. Laws are passed, effectively banning home schooling. Private Christian schools are having their tax laws changed…they are no longer able to survive without assistance from the government, but once you take government money, you have to abide by their rules. The Christian schools can’t work without money, people can’t afford to pay high tuitions any more. But they also can’t teach a Christian education without governmental control and its illegal to teach from home unless you have some government issued teaching certificate, but to get that certification, you have to agree to not teach certain things, prove you are teaching what the government wants you to teach. If you are caught teaching anything that is not sanctioned by the government, your certificate is pulled, your kids are forced back into a government school and you are fined or put in jail for 30 days. Not a real appealing idea either way you look at it is it?

Churches also begin to feel the pressure of the government, their tax exempt status is revoked, some new tax is enacted that begins to choke the life out of the church. The church still struggles to exist but does cause nothing can stop God’s church, not even satan, but he can sure chip away at it. Less and less people are going to church, it’s started to be viewed as some of out of date, irrelevant, even dangerous thing. There will probably be laws enacted that force churches to not teach about things that are offensive. Speaking against sin of any kind is offensive to someone, so basically you can’t teach and preach about anything without breaking the law. False prophets pop up all over the place, preaching the gospel of complete tolerance, nothing is really a sin anymore, no loving God would condemn anyone to hell. Hell probably does not exist in the Biblical sense anyway. People fall away from the real gospel left and right, no one wants to be judged anymore, they just want to be happy.

If someone tried to do something like this right now, there would be too much opposition, there are still too many Christians in this country for anyone to even suggest most of this. But all this is going to happen. That is why I feel that the “rapture” will happen before much of this starts to take place. Yes, that’s probably only a few years away. There would be few if any believers who would put up any opposition then. The people left on the earth could then be easily fooled into buying into this stuff.

They don't know the Word of God, they don't have that foundation. In fact, after the rapture takes place, there will be so much confusion and panic that the anti-christ also seizes the opportunity to somehow denounce Christianity as some kind of evil that must have been somehow responsible for this loss of millions of people. The persecution of Christianity will begin in earnest. You think that people hate Christians now...this is nothing compared to how people that come to Christ during the tribulation will be treated. The Bible will be banned, no one growing up during this time will have anything to point them to the Truth, they will fall for anything.

Once the rapture happens, people who previously didn’t believe in Christ now may believe…they may have seen someone taken before their very eyes. But God says it does not work like that. If you deny Christ now and say to yourself “Well, if Christ does exist and comes back, if I see people taken into heaven, if I see God descending on a cloud , I will believe then.

It’s too late at that point for these people. You heard the truth, you had your chance, you were told exactly what was going to happen. You rejected God, you mocked him, you mocked the Truth. It would not be fair if you now could change your mind, after you have seen it. God is fair, but this would not be. That would not be a true faith. A true faith was shown by those people that believed without seeing. The adage, seeing is believing is true, but not true now.

That is NOT to say that people won’t come to Christ after the rapture and during this tribulation. People will, Bibles are still there, hidden, shared under the cover of darkness, like in China now. Maybe even this very webpage is still out there somewhere on the internet, God clearly says that people can be saved and will be, but these people had not previously heard the Gospel. These people had not had the chance to reject God yet. It’s a choice, maybe make the choice to believe again, it’s true faith again.

It is really going to be even harder for those to believe after the rapture takes place. There will be severe pressure to conform now. Those of you reading this right now, even though you heard the trumpet sound, saw Jesus in the sky with your own eyes, you will start to doubt. There will be harsh punishments for you if you continue to profess faith in Jesus. Many of you will be put into prison, killed even.

Really this is where the anti-christs greatest work will be done. He will convince these masses, the people that saw the rapture take place. That they really did not see what they thought they saw. It was some sort of trick, a slight of hand by the evil Christians. No one actually went to Heaven, no one saw this Jesus. These people are perpetrating the second great hoax, the first was the resurrection, now this. These Christians are evil, they fled into the wilderness, the mountains, they are trying to overthrow the anti-christ.

The world will HATE Christians now, not just call them names, but a Satanic hatred. New Christians will be rounded up, hunted like animals. They will be forced to deny Christ in public, forced to take the mark or be put to death. These people can’t take the mark. And the mark can’t be forced upon them cause it has to be voluntary in order to mean anything. If you refuse, you lose your head.

So how does this global warming crisis that everyone is so concerned about fit it this? Well, it’s actually quite important. Not only does it scare people for no real reason. It’s a media fueled false crisis that people are buying into hook line and sinker. It has several effects. It’s an economic issue for some. People begin buying and selling these carbon offset credit’s as a way to feel good about themselves, look we are saving “mother earth”. Sneaky politicians begin to realize that there is not only a lot of money to be made in this, but it’s also a real effective way to control people. The world populace will be forced to buy these carbon credits in order to drive or fly and basically to get anywhere. You don’t buy your credits, you don’t get to buy gas, you don’t buy gas you don’t get to work, you don’t work, you don’t eat and you watch your family suffer. No one wants to watch their family suffer…so you buy the credits. Later, you can’t buy anything including your credits without getting the mark. Just another way to force wary people, fence sitters into agreeing to getting the mark. The mark of the beast is really a key to this whole thing, it’s basically your way of saying no I trust in God or no I don’t trust in God.

Beyond an economic issue, it’s a personal security issue. God does tell us in the Bible that in the end times, not only will there be wars, but also tons of natural disasters, earthquakes and storms, strange weather patterns, etc. Guess what these storms, cat 5 hurricanes, etc are attributed to? You got it, global warming. The world starts to cry out for help, what is going on here, can anyone do anything about this weather, these storms? Now here is where the anti-christ really starts to hit his stride. I have no idea how he does it, use some supernatural power to calm the storms, but he stops these storms and disasters somehow.

God does tell us that the anti-christ will appear to perform signs and wonders and the people will just be completely amazed and awed by him. His stature at this point begins to rise from mere mortal, to something more…he is special…his power over the world is solidified. If he was not already the world’s elected leader, he is now. He is the undisputed savior of the world…people will believe anything he says.

He will not only through some supernatural means put an end to the violence and war, control the weather, but he will somehow broker a peace deal between the Palestinians and Israel. The world will finally be at peace and we have this great man to thank for it. The world will unite behind him, governments will give up their own power for their own self defense to him, basically abdicating their own freedom to become part of this great new plan, this utopia of world peace. The final couple of pieces of the puzzle fall into place. The peace in Israel will be followed by the rebuilding of the temple on the temple mount. As part of this peace agreement, Israel gives up something, land maybe, in exchange for the temple mount.

He will re-build the temple in Jerusalem. It will be magnificent. Gold all over, just as it’s described in the Bible..no detail too small. But instead of it being a tribute to the One God, it is as a shrine to himself. But that’s ok with everyone, because by this time, he has proven himself to be some kind of god. He will seat himself on the throne in that temple, a direct slap to God’s face. He is making himself the new christ, the savior of the world.

The seat of government in this new peaceful world under this new christ will be Jerusalem. All these things are coming together now aren’t they? Why Jerusalem? Cause it’s where Gods plan started with the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is satan’s way of becoming like god. He tried to do it in heaven, but was defeated. Satan likes to mimic God, copy him, only pervert, just as he perverted marriage, the family, everything he does is a cheap and weak attempt to be like God. Jerusalem is also near the geographic center of the world. It’s also the center of the worlds three great religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

Christianity has been pretty much destroyed now. Many Jews believe that this man is the return of Christ, they don’t believe that real Jesus Christ is the true messiah cause he did not “rescue” them in the sense they expected. This new man, this new messiah has done that now, and more. He has not only brought peace to the world, but has given the Jewish people back their honor and dignity. He has made them and their city the center of the world again. The Jewish people and the country of Israel are whole.

I have been listening for more than this, how will the final battle of Armageddon take place, who are the players, what happens. What happens to the Jewish people, God will make a new covenent with them somehow. I truly don’t feel God telling this to me right now, and I don’t want to insert my opinion into this. If God shows me and tells me to write it down, I will. For now this is all I have to write. To any of you being persecuted now, reading this in secret..stay true to Jesus until the end. Death is not the end, it’s the beginning.

Hal Lindsey's been there and done that. And Tim LaHaye extended the Tribulation (originally intended to be only six books) for a time, times and half a time - times two and a half - already. I think it's time Christians stop seeing themselves as Satan's doormat.

Yet another individual who wants to have insight where others of his ilk have failed miserably.

And it’s all gonna happen just this way “real soon now”.

Shame on you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, what did I say to be shamed? Because I’m skeptical when someone comes along claiming that God is speaking directly to him when he’s typing a message about John McCain? That they have the future all tied up real neatly? Listen to this claim:

"As I was writing this reply, I started to just keep typing as things just came into my mind, it was almost like I could not type fast enough. These were things that I have never thought before, and some things that I have thought about, but could never piece together. So basically, I have to believe that God was speaking to me, telling what I needed to write down."

He believes God is speaking to him because his mind is prone to wander.

Shame on you for encouraging such fraud. Why not just pull out the old Ouija board and give that a try?

And you don't believe because you didn't experience it.

Who are you to judge whether it happened or not? Does the poster say anything that is anti-biblical? Anti-God?

Does God not use people other than yourself? Quit being so prideful and at least withhold judgment. It's this attitude that really turns me against calvinists.

Good post, kyperman.

I’ve found that Scriptural study of eschatology is one of the more demanding studies which exist.

So much understanding of the end times is revealed in many other fundamental doctrines flowing through our thinking processes.

Historical studies provide enormous guidance in understanding doctrine, but as with anything, through faith in Christ while walking with Him.

There may be many opponents here at FR, but the arguments presented, IMHO, are rarely anything new from the past 2000 years of Church History. Most denominatinal differences were based upon those differences and wars have been fought over them for centuries.

At present I find studies in the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the Indwelling of Jesus Christ, the Shekinah Glory, the Temple, the Word of God, the Sacrificial System, all may have tremendous bearing in our lives leading into days which may precede the Rapture and the Great Tribulation.

Dispensational theology has many things right or closer to explaining Scriptural doctrine, but as with all faith, it must come from God to the believer on His terms.

IMHO, you have provided outstanding testimony as a fellow believer in Christ.

I’ve found that Scriptural study of eschatology is one of the more demanding studies which exist.

But it helps if God talks to you directly, no?

Perhaps this was given to you as understanding of all the times you heard and read about these subjects.

Click! ... now I see ... it all makes sense to me.

This is not new. You have probably read bits and pieces of it here over time.

Not to say God did not give you understanding. so that you could tell it to your family, friends coworkers, your arena of influence. It is God that provides understanding to the genuine seeker and believer.

Psalms 103:1; 104:1
“Bless the LORD O my soul ...”

and

Proverbs 3:5
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Bless the LORD O my soul!

***But it helps if God talks to you directly, no?***

There are some people who experience a revelation from God that are absolutely convincing and leave the interviewer with a profound sense of the holy.

There are some people like the Swaggarts and Osteens and Warrens who experience a realization that if they are absolutely convincing, the interviewer will leave with a profound sense of donating.
