Sorry. I got tangled up in the thread. Gary North was the originator (I believe) of the term "pessimillennialism".
"Biblically optimistic" has to do with the measurable positive effect the gospel will have in the world over the course of history.

Thanks for the correction, although the term as you now explain it, and as discussed at the website you provided, still doesn't ring right to me. It is not the
Bible that will triumph but rather its Author, who uses His Word among other tools.
But you go ahead and don't bother about me.
