The Orthodox were Catholic for the first ten centuries of the Chruch’s existence and supported the papacy, to which numerous quotes from the Chruch fathers East and West can attest.

My heritage is Russian, by the way.

Not so partner. The early church was centered in Constantinople. All early churches were equals in the first several councils. (held in turkey) Rome eventually demanded all others recognize their primacy. Rome split away to become a defacto secular government, after the fall of the western Roman empire.

And in what Russian city were you raised and in what Orthodox church did you worship? My heritage is Texan by the way,,,

Constantine doesn’t agree with you.
