Mary is the mother of God

My God existed always. Mary is the very human mother of Jesus' human form.

Not as a human being He didn't. Mary, whom Scripture intructs you to call blessed, is the mother of the Word made flesh.

That is the Nestorian heresy, that was exploded centuries ago. The Church has been fully agreed on this point since well before it was officially pronounced at the Council of Ephesus.

Christ is truly God and truly man, and Mary is the mother of Christ in ALL his being, both God and man. That is why in the early Church she is called qeotokos - God-bearer.

Mary gave birth to a Person, not a nature. That Person is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity.

So, do you believe that Jesus has two essences? Two separate components? Or wholly man and wholly God? If the latter, then the term Theotokos remains.

If ou do not believe this, then you are guilty of diaphyism

Ah, Marian theology. It's great if you want to syncretistically fold Isis worshippers into your evolving religion, but not so great if you want to be true to the Bible.

I guess my Protestant Bible mistranslated Jesus’ prayer “Our Father, Who art in Heaven” instead of “Mary, My Mother, Who art in Nazareth, Hallowed be Thy name.”

Since we Catholics believe in the Trinity, calling Mary, the "Mother of God" is only natural, since God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
