You laugh but do not understand? Unless a person finds themselves in a Evangelical Catholic Church, they may be attending a dead Church.

Many Catholic Priests have never really come to Christ, and if they have not come to Christ, they surely can not lead others to Christ.

You have your Spirit filled Catholics and you have the rest.

God Bless all the Catholic Churches!!

You will find the same deal in all the main line Churches. You will find it difficult to find a dead evangelical Church.

I look beyond my navel. The streets and malls are littered with them. The Gospel is warped and twisted or ignored completely in most of the ones that I have attended. The Sacraments have been abandoned. There is no adherence to the Nicene Creed - the fundamental yardstick of Christianity. Most of the evangelicals look at the Father as the stern overlord of the Universe, at Jesus as His nice Son who was sent by the Father to redeem us, and the Holy Spirit as the messenger boy sent by the Father.

Virgin birth? Optional. Mary and Joseph had many children? Usual. The whole Da Vinci scam derived from the evangelicals thinking that the Vatican was hiding the secret that Jesus actually married Mary Magdalene and had children that these descendents are the now crowned heads of Europe. The Holy Grail is a part of this whole rather neat tale, now. Mary was a Gnostic, doncha know and Jesus respected her right to choose, so after her third child with Jesus she went to southern France.

This is why the Vatican moved to France for some years, so that they could cover up the whole Mary Magdalene story and make Jesus seem as if he did not have any children.

Any of this sound familiar? Or are these evangelicals moving in different circles from yours?

Nonsense! Where did you get this idea?

Many Catholic Priests have never really come to Christ, and if they have not come to Christ, they surely can not lead others to Christ.

All Catholic priests have been baptized. Baptism is the sacrament that gives our souls the new life of sanctifying grace by which we become children of God and heirs of heaven. ref: John 3:5
