***Is there a outcome from the service? Is there a alter call?***

There is no Scriptural or patristic proofs or defence of altar calls. It began in the early 1800s with Charles Finney and has evolved with the evangelical churches especially the Prosperity churches into a simple pressured emotional gratification. People get up, wave hands, scream, shout, faint, bark, and even see visions.

Nope, not Scriptural, not patristic, not even Christian.

A alter call is just challenging a person to invite Christ in to their life, you can call it whatever you like.

Are you suggesting it`s not Scriptural to invite Jesus in to your live?

Jesus said I stand at the door and knock, anybody that opens the door, I will come in.
