Mormons are sola scriptura — they interpret the Bible by the interpretation of one man — J Smith. Just like you guys follow your own interpretations right from Calvin onwards.

If you go on their website, I’m sure you’ll be directed to some names. Petronski will just use them against us so I won’t sy anything else.

You said : They may be outside the Catholic church but not outside the universal catholic church, the body of Christ, which HE founded, not mere man. I thank God they ARE outside the Catholic church.

In Answer to me saying : Well, we are not an esoteric secret gnostic meeting of folks. Don’t want to upset those who do belong to such groups (and they are inevitably OUTSIDE The Church)***

So you then DO agree that groups ouside the Church are esoteric secret gnostic meetings of folks.

And, of course, gnosis is not part of the Body of Christ

Nope. We are the Body of Christ, the universal catholic church.

If you’re part of a Gnostic cult outside The Apostolic Church, then you’re not part of the Body of Christ. A Gnostic cult is no better than the Manichaens

Well they are sola mano then, or something, not sola scripture...

We are the Body of Christ, the universal Catholic Church.

Yes! Correct.

Keeping secret the identity of the cult leaders is a sure sign of legitimacy.

LOL

Sorry, but I’m definitely part of the Body of Christ. Our church most certainly is part of the Body of Christ. You speak nonsense.

If one was outside the Apostolic Church, one are definitely NOT following the teachings of Christ, rather one would be belonging to a cult. Outside The Church you have cults like Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Gnostics etc. — are you in one of those groups?

And, to call a Gnostic cult “church” is like the Scientologists calling their cult a “church”. The Church is purely the Apostolic Church: Assyrian, Orthodox, Oriental and Catholic Churchs — of all rites from Latin to Syro-Malabar to Maronite.

Nope. You’re wrong. The Body of Christ is the church, not just your institution.

No, I’m not in any of those groups. My church was an old Baptist Church. My teachings are just fine.

Ah, Baptists — outside Christ’s Church.

Part of Christ’s Church, just not in communion with her...instead, clouded and mired in error compounding error.

I see.

Do you understand my concern when you appear to be keeping secrets of people and procedures, and yet admit that the leader of Elim is an ‘estate planner’ and handles money for members of the congregation?

There are way too many examples within living memory, even, right here in the USA.

Never mind the esoteric groups that flourish worldwide.

Was Baptist? I thought that Elim is a variant of the Pentecostals.
