The Scripture is the inspired word of God, written solely by men. We have no need to claim it was handed down by His angel.
Prophets were sent to change the hearts of men, not to be Walter Cronkite looking into the future.
The history of what is Scripture and what is apocrypha or even blasphemy is long and contentious, both in the Jewish and Christian traditions.

“We have no need to claim it was handed down by His angel.”

Actually, portions were delivered by agency of angels!

“Who have received the Law by the disposition
of ANGELS, and have not kept it” (Acts 7:53).

Speaking about the Law of God, the apostle Paul in the
Book of Hebrews said,

“The word spoken by ANGELS was steadfast,
and every transgression and disobedience
received a just recompense of reward.”
(Hebrews 2:2)

You might also read this by Paul...

“Wherefore then serves the Law? It was
added because of transgressions, till
the seed should come to whom the promise
was made; and it was ordained by ANGELS
in the hand of a mediator” (Galatians 3:19)

Never the less, all scripture is inspired by
GOD.
