Standard SOP cop out.

At least they are consistent as a team...

If the answer is not an issues, [please share it again, for the lurkers in the wider audience.

There is no reason to be coy about it, that should be something you are proud of...

Several years but I usually only lurk the main page from time to time. The religion board seems to be taken over by people who actively attack the LDS denomination.

It’s really the same old stuff regurgitated on many boards over the years by people who really have no sincere interest in the truth.

Another example of a misleading attack. The Bible is part of our standard scripture.

While our interpretations may differ, as many denominations do, inferring that we do not believe in the bible is misleading at best.

But... you already know that I am sure. Enjoying yourself?

LDS Denomination?

Hum...

Anyways, again the lack of a demonstration or reference to information that could rebut or have rebutted with success these long running “attacks” leaves me and the lurkers a bit flat...

Like its all talk and such...

Of course that would not be the case, there is certainly substantial and verifiable proof and sources to support your claims...

Right?

Glenn L. Pace: “Women have a sacred role in the sanctification and purification of men”

Nana asked PD: “What was the number of women who have been mormon prophets and presidents again ???”

PD to Nana: “I’m not sure why I am even answering you.”
___________________________________________________

No ???

Then I’ll tell you why...

This is just some new proganda from the mormon corporation...

The other day one of the mormons said “Mormons believe men and women are equal. In fact, we believe women are naturally more righteous than men. This is why the Priesthood is given only to men since we need it in order to approach the spiritual level of women.”

This is a new thing that the mormons are doing...

Womden have always been second class citizens in at best in mormondom...

Heber C Kimball, who was a member of the “first presidency”, and had 45 “wives”, said, “I think no more of taking another wife than I do of buying another cow”

Let’s continue with Heber Chase Kimbal, that “paragon defender” of high placed womanhood and the virtue therein..

Joey Smith once demanded that the wives of all the 12 mormon apostles be given to him...

When Joey Smith demanded Kimball’s favorite wife, Vilate, Kimball gave Smith his 14 year old daughter, Helen, instead...

Helen was coerced into the illicit liaison with Smith by being lied to and told that unless she agreed her whole family would not go to the mormon after life...

her father lied to her and told her that she would not have to have sex with Joey Smith...

Smith’s intentions towards women were always of a sexual nature...he built his religion on sexual conquests...

Helen Mar Kimball later wrote that she had been tricked and said if she had known that the night she was to spend with joey Smith in his bed included sex she would not have agreed...

Helen had been convinced that the “marriage” to the adulterous pedophile Joey Smith was for later in “eternity” and not now for “time” meaning physical sex...

No respect or regard for “sacred” womanhood or “sacred” marriage there...

Most if not all of Joey Smith’s sexual liaisons he called “celestial marriage” were for time and not eternity...

Those of you with issues or questions should seek clarification from sources other than biased anti-Mormons ...

- - - - - - - - -
Well, that is amusing since the ‘antis’(and especially us ex-mos) are more likely to truth than the LDS church members are.

I know, ‘milk’ before ‘meat’, but the LDS milk is spoiled and the meat rotten.

Someone has to tell the truth about the LDS and they sure aren’t doing it.

Isn’t that called spiritual bait-and-switch?

That is a VERY apt description.

Since you appear to be so well-informed, on this “divine truth” why don’t YOU post this “clarification” right here on this thread? With sources and links, please.

You are a closed-minded anti-Mormon propagandist. Nothing more.

- - - - - - -
You engage in Ad hominum attacks rather than actually present a defense. Sure sign (of the nail) of a losing argument.

the old and tired arguments against the LDS church.

- - - - - - —
I suppose it has not occurred to you that those arguments have merit. Unfortunately, most Mormons have spiritual blinders on.

And spare me the spin of Fair/Farms, I’ve read them.

The are interesting examples of ‘spin control’ but are not considered valid rebuttals in non-LDS academia.

Do you have any sources that are “unbiased”?

The source in this article is from the LdS.

How could it be considered “biased” since this information is being presented by an LdS leader ?

The Bible is part of our standard scripture.

— - - - - -
Only ‘so far as it is translated correctly’ whatever THAT means this week. That goes even FARTHER out the window once you know how to read Greek/Hebrew.

The LDS only use the verses that support their doctrines and throw the rest out as being unreliable and probably corrupt.

And then there is the JST...

Please share with us just WHICH VERSES of the Bible are not ‘translated correctly’. We can avoid those and I can still use the Bible (in context with proper exegesis) to prove Mormonism false.

We don’t do this because it is ‘fun’. We do this because it is NECESSARY. The LDS want to claim to be Christians at the same time claiming other churches are ‘apostate’ and the LDS is the ‘only true church’. So we Christians have a responsibility, a duty, to scrutinize their teachings & doctrines in light of the Bible.

The copy/pastes I refer to are the old and tired arguments against the LDS church.

Waiting for direct evidence of this.
