Where is America in Biblical Prophecy?

A resounding question asked by many today is, “Where is America in Biblical prophecy?” The simple answer is that our nation will still exist, but our military power and socio-economic position will have been reduced into a godless, base nation at that time. When Christ calls His Church out of the world by means of the Rapture, our nation will implode on itself (2 Thess. 2:7). Any remnant of restraint by Conservatives will then be removed, and our demise will arise by means of civil war and lawlessness - even nuclear destruction - to a state of total social collapse and anarchy. The prophetic words and warnings of our Founding Fathers against the violation of Almighty God’s natural laws will come to pass. America will reap a whirlwind of consequences from her godless doings, and tyranny and oppression will fill the vacuum once filled with justice and the rule of

Jerusalem is Jerusalem.

Would that be the Jerusalem above, that is free, or the Jerusalem below, that is in bondage?

You will not find it in there my friend.. it is not there.... because it is irrelevant to what is God’s chief design for the future. God has used this nation wondrously but we are just a nation among nations. We have to let go of our prominence in the world. We have only been on the world stage for about 300 years. That is a drop in the bucket compared with the ancient nations of the world.

Many try to force fit America in to the Bible as a square block in a round hole. I used to be like that.. but I just learned to let the Bible just say what it states and believe it.

Yes... The true body of believers -those who have received Jesus Christ as Savior by faith as God’s Word (John 1:12, Acts 16:29-30, Rom 5:1, 1 John 5 etc..) - clearly will be removed out of the world and the day of God’s wrath will occur. When that does happen America will totally feel the effect of that event, socially, fiscally, morally, eternally.. we are at the braking point now let alone when this event takes place.

Isaiah, Hag., Zech. 14 and several other places in the Bible - talk about the nations of the world going up to Jerusalem each year etc.. in the kingdom age after Armageddon etc... That is where N.& S. America will be. The future is all about Israel and the conversion at the Messiah’s return in glory from Heaven.

Well nay sayers will be nay sayers.... unbelief is unbelief... all the evidence in the world can not change a foolish heart... Look at evolutionist.

We aren’t, except perhaps as “the world” or individual followers.

The notion America is specifically mentioned in Scripture has never been proven.

The one below.. the one for now... that Jerusalem will be earthly glorious for a 1000 years then it will be removed at the end of the Kingdom age because even in it earthly glory it still is imperfect.

The New heavenly one at the end of time will be absolutely perfect and will be the new and permanent one forever. That is each man or woman’s eternal abode who have placed their trust in God’s Lamb Jesus Messiah.

Exactly. It’s not in there but it is assumed because it states the whole earth and all nations will fight against and serve Jerusalem and Almighty God in the end.

The scribes and Pharisees knew the Torah better than anyone, but failed to recognize Jesus as messiah.

This is an interesting take... i’ll do some research of my own on Armilus, Edom and Romi. However, too many things just don’t quite line up. The first link you gave was bad. The second link did not address this directly.

Is there a link which focuses directly on the content of your post and goes into more detail?

Thanks.

A simpler way to explain American in Bible prophecy is to remember Western Civilization, of which America is the leader, is called Esau and Edom.

The Book of Obadiah describes the fate of Esau/Edom, summed up in Obadiah 1:18 “...and the house of Esau shall become stubble, and they shall ignite them and consume them, and the house of Esau shall have no survivors, for the Lord has spoken.”

“Where is America in Biblical Prophecy?”

In the verse just before the one about Brazil and just after the one about Chile.

Amen to that like I said when the bible says all nations will come up against Israel and Israel will become a weight around the necks of the nations I believe that the UDA is amongst those nations. But this nuclear and other things may or may not happen but I don't see it in the bible concerning the USA.

“so until we can demonstrate that the core of this nation stands against Israel, it is somewhat premature to suggest that the current administration represents the end of America’s blessings from God.”

Unfortunately the core of this nation was so out of tune with God’s word or so apathetic that it elected the current administration. God has allowed us to have what we (collectively) wished for.

Sorry about the links. Try these, I just tested them and they worked for me:

Identifying the evil at the End of Days:

Yeranen Yaakov:

http://yeranenyaakov.blogspot.com/2006/06/end-of-days-where-are-we-part-2-of-3.html

http://yeranenyaakov.blogspot.com/2006/06/end-of-days-where-are-we-part-3-of-3.html

I’m not sure what you mean by too many things not lining up. The “take” is from the original Hebrew sources- scripture, and translated by Orthodox Rabbis, so they are as reliable and knowledgeable as it gets.- Yeranen Yaakov’s site focuses on this material.

You may also want to try the following. They are also by Orthodox Rabbis / Torah scholars:

http://www.torahohr.net/gogumagog/
http://hashem1.net/?p=361
http://dreamingofmoshiach.blogspot.com/search?q=Jeremiah

“The scribes and Pharisees knew the Torah better than anyone.” The Torah has not changed since Moses received it from G-D. All Rabbinic scholars and Rabbis have this same knowledge. Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Moshiach. For Jews, the Moshiach, Moshiach ben Dovid ( David), will arrive at the “End of Days”.

I hope this provides some clarity on this perspective.
