It is absolutely sick to make this implication. If the RCC had not shuffled around its pedo priests, sending them to new parishes; if the RCC had not covered up the problem for so many years; if the RCC had not made the victims feel like it was THEIR fault, then the Nazis would not have had anything to criticize.
No, the implication is that modern journalists are doing the same thing as the Nazi journalists, namely distorting the facts, re-hashing old cases that have long been dealt with, ignoring that the Church handles these better now, ignoring that the pedophile problem is no worse in the Church than in other organizations, etc.
But hey, hyperbole is fun, esp on a Friday, so have at it!
If that upsets you, then the following events, caught on videotape and taking place right now across the US, should really make you mad.

And if you believe this problem is unique to the 0.3% of priests in the Catholic Church, then open your eyes to the reality of what is going on your local school district and surrounding community.
Is Sexual Abuse a Catholic Problem Only? (Spotlights Leave Many Other Things in Darkness)
I have posted before that I think the RCC priests are by and large good men who do a lot of good.
That said, the truth is the Nazis of old and the anti-Catholics of today couldn’t be getting all this leverage out of this issue if the RC hierarchy hadn’t handled the abuse and allegations so poorly.
“The implication is that if ANYONE criticizes the way the RCC handles its pedo priests, they are just like the Nazis.
It is absolutely sick to make this implication”
Exactly. Playing the Nazi card over this issue is pathetic and transparent.
