I do try to be fairly ecumenical in my bashing

As evidence of that, please note another item I posted this morning: Liberation Theology and U.S. Catholics -- an exhaustive item that is not AT ALL complimentary to my own church.

And, by the way, I am not terribly interested in converting people on the Internet (I have never met anybody who truly changed their minds as the result of something they read on the 'net). I just post things that I think would be of interest. Just so you know.

' Yes most true and No in some respects. Engaging people towards truth on the internet for conversion is a troublesome task, most impossible. I reconverted back to Catholicism from the invisible protestant church which never required Sunday attendance and only fleeting 3 second acts of contrition for my sins whilst driving down the freeway. I did this by tit-for-tat comparisons from a Sola Scriptura perspective on all the hot button doctrinal & theological differences. Reading what the Catholics said about themselves and their biblical support was key! Seems that Catholicism was hitting em' out of the park with biblical quotes solidly supporting their statements, whereas the Protestants were weak or very misleading and only strong on a few points. That was the clincher. . Sorry to bother you.
