It is offensive, insulting to my Lord, heretical for starters.
It is also against their policy that only descendants can do this work. The policy that was put in place because of their baptizing Jewish holocaust victims.

Well those with little to no knowledge of Christ could see this and be lead away from Christianity, especially with the Mormon PR effort so focused on the “we are Christians too (but better)” sales pitch...
God, who is rather busy himself, weeps at every lost soul, should such be any less a concern to us?
