Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem

Children of Jerusalem (19th Century Photo)

Oh LORD, You are forever Holy and Righteous.
How Excellent is Your Name!
It is You Who Stretched out the Heavens,
And it is You Who laid the Foundations of the Earth.
You Alone Are Worthy of Praise,
and You Alone Are The
One True God of Abraham!
Ancient of Days,
Rock of Ages,
Eternal, and Almighty,
We Can Do Nothing But Fall On Our Faces
Before You in Endless Worship and Thanksgiving!
We Thank You For Your Mighty,
Exquisite, Holy, and Immutable Word!
We Thank You For Your Jewish People,
Who in Spite of Centuries of Exile and Persecution,
Have Kept Your Word Alive.
We Thank You For Giving Us a Glimpse
Into Your Eternal Mind,
And We Thank You For Your Provision
For Redemption and Wholeness,
Even Though None Of us deserve it!

3. But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself:
the LORD will hear when I call unto him.

4. Stand in awe, and sin not:
commune with your own heart upon your bed,
and be still.
Selah.

Thank You, Father, for setting apart Your People for Yourself,
For Giving Us Your Word,
For Your LAW, Which is the Foundation of Our Civilization,
And For Your Messiah!

6. There be many that say,
Who will show us any good?
LORD, lift thou up the light of thy countenance upon us.

7. Thou hast put gladness in my heart,
more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.

8. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.

Thank You, Abba, for the Comfort and Peace of Your Holy Word.
Thank You For Your Promises, which are Forever.

Dear Father, Abba, We Pray for The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise!

We Thank you for those who come to this "Gan Tefillah",
This Garden of Prayer,
Every Single Day
To Pray For Your People,
To Study Your Word,
To Share Insights,
To Gaze Upon Pictures of Your Land of Promise
And to Have Blessed Fellowship.
Please Bless Jim Rob for giving us this Opportunity,
and this little corner of FR.

We Plead For Israeli Control Over All the Holy Sites in Israel,
So that People of All Faiths may visit them.
We Pray For Bibi Netayahu, and the Leaders of Israel
May They Receive Wisdom from You to do the Right Thing.
We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Thread

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For The Peace Of Jerusalem

Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem

Today's Text is Psalm 4, to the Chief Musician on Neginoth (Probably a Stringed Instrument).
Music was very Important in the Temple of Israel.
Musicians even led the soldiers into battle!

The word for "Chief Musician" is lamnatze'ach, and the Hebrew root word , netzach, means "Strength", "Power," and even "Victory"!

Come pray For The Peace of Jerusalem with me.

“8. I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.”

What a comforting verse. What an unclinching of the heart, to rest in peace and safety because the LORD makes me dwell in safety. Beautiful.

Thank You, We often forget it is You that is providing for our EVERY NEED. Forgive our vain pride that lets us think we have done it ourselves. Peace, Hope, Love, Trust, Grace, Mercy are all attributes You give us to show how we are to approach our brothers.

O Lord, You have provided for our every moment all our lives. Every thing we are, we owe to You. Gratefully let us Adore You and Praise You with everything in us, our strength, our mind, heart, soul, and entire being. Reverence in our heart and mind for the joy, and the awesome opportunity of knowing, loving, and worshiping You LORD, we come before You in humbleness of heart asking forgiveness of our sins and ask mercy on our souls. Thank You, LORD for Your voice through the Scriptures. Help us be pleasing to You today and everyday. Bless Israel, the people of Israel, and its leaders, Jerusalem, persecuted believers, the lost, our children, the hurting, all that call Your name. Holy, Holy, Holy, are You, now and forever. In the name of Jesus Christ Your Son we pray, amen.
