I agree that sitting in a pew is not evidence...please read the post that I was originally responding to. The statement was made something about Jesus appearing to the rabbi as Jesus did with Paul...for Paul we have evidence of a change in the person, I have not seen evidence presented from the people that knew the rabbi about any such change.
Also Christians do know that Jesus is the Messiah, the unbeliever does not. So what is the importance of this note if it is true? Somebody posted that it would be important in reaching the Jews...because it would be a sign to them. Teach Jesus as the Messiah from Scripture and let the Holy Spirit bring them to Jesus (I agree with you)...there is then no need for the sign.
Again, I am saying that some have said that this would be important in reaching unbelievers and that I disagree with. If they will not believe God’s Word then they will not believe this note that cannot be validated. That is what I was trying to relate in my post.
