Thanks for a great post. Notice also that the escape of the Hebrews from bondage required the smearing of blood on their lintels—a foreshadowing of the blood sacrifice of Jesus which was needed to buy our freedom.
His purpose is to liberate the whole world, using a liberator people, Israel.

We went through Exodus and timed it to wind up During the Passover/Easter Season on the Jerusalem Thread, but the timing of this to Our Own Nation’s Anniversary of Freedom, especially in light of the shaky state of it right now, is very telling!
