We should celebrate everyone who comes to know and accept Yah'shua.shalom b'SHEM Yah'shua HaMashiachWhat I see here are people who indulge in the politics of personal destruction.
9 He who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets, Therefore do not associate with a gossip.These seem to be another sign of the End Times.20 For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances;
NAU 2 Timothy 3:1 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good,
4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these.
6 For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses,
7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
As for some of the comments of “personal destruction” posted. We do know why that battle rages so. Truth may reach the heart but the mind has a grip on that which is comfortable and familiar. This Priest took years to come to the place where he saw his faith as it really was...so too it shall be for others. When one touches anothers comfort zone of beliefs there is always a defense...if they cannot defend their position they will indeed lash out. It is not their faith they are defending for the most part, it is their church and Rome's authority over them for which they are bound.. we are Free!
Timothy was on to something there.
