All the time. Really. Year after year the same posters exist here to post anti-Catholic garbage. At first I thought they were misinformed, but when they were corrected they were back the next day with new lies.
It’s why the caucus threads came about. People wanted to learn but didn’t want to have to wade through the lies and bigotry.
Mostly I just move on but sometimes get sucked into reading the start of a thread. But when I see the same names (the usual suspects) I just move on.
You can’t make people honest.
You can’t stop them from lying.
I just say a prayer for them and move on.
Just note the ping lists and get to know them.
On my home page I describe them as the thorns among the roses.
