That’s not true, I am a Christian who has left my Middle East home many years ago. And I have always condemned the weak stand of my Church when they try to get along with the Muslim rulers. Someone mentioned the Stockholm syndrome, I actually consider the relationship between the Christian minorities and the Muslim rulers, as a spousal abuse case. Christians are living in fear of their Muslim masters, they do their best to please them and they get nothing in return. Those who manage to leave, gradually regain their own identity and self respect but it takes time.
