Stay on topic, DU. The world and the occultic world doesn't revolve around the political ONLY. (They have their "Own" politics in the "spirit world"...and they focus on occultic cults like Mormonism)
Or haven't you noticed, DU, that the world seems to get "focused" on the occult around Halloween?
The Bible actually references Satan as a "god of this world." And if you don't think a god of this world has subjects and exercises politics, then you haven't been paying attention.
Let me give you a few good facts.
This and the next election are probably the most important elections of my lifetime.
I and many of my fellow Mormons are out working for the CONSERVATIVE candidates.
Well, not ALL of your fellow mormons:
Ace Robison is endorsing Harry Reid.
That's the same Robison who is the former chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, former chief of staff to Paul Laxalt. It's the same Robison who is (former?) stake president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Moapa Valley. Most astoundingly, it's also the Ace Robison who for decades has played an integral role in attempting to develop the nuclear waste repository at Yucca Mountain.
His greatest adversary? Harry Reid.
Harry Reid's AND Ace Robison's religion? Mormon.
Hmmmm, been down this road once before DU. Very simple question - do you sustain the words of your prophets and apostles?
Nothing less than a complete apostasy from the Christian religion would warrant the establishment of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- Prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., History of the Church, v. 1, p. xl
"The Christian world, so-called, are heathens as to the knowledge of the salvation of God"
- Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, v. 8, p. 171
"Christianity...is a perfect pack of nonsense...the devil could not invent a better engine to spread his work than the Christianity of the nineteenth century."
- Prophet John Taylor, Journal of Discourses, v. 6, p. 167
Believers in the doctrines of modern Christendom will reap damnation to their souls.
- Apostle Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, see pp. 45-46
Perhaps it is a mormon who should be the LAST one to cite Lewis.
And he hits a home run!!! When an individual has tunnel vision or an unchanging focus regarding anything, it is dangerous for those around him. The Anti crowd here will only see the political dangers when Mormons are no more. Until then they will be modern day mobs doing the bidding of their ministers to the peril of us all. When folks can’t distinguish between conservative LDS Members and extremist Muslims... the Republic is done for. Thanks for your comments
