Christianity is not only about preparing ourselves for Heaven by living well on Earth, its also about bringing a little bit of Heaven to Earth now. That's what inspires me to keep going.

that is absolutely impossible. There is nothing in this life but misery and horror. Nothing else! There is simply no point in trying to do good. The most we can hope for is a brief life and then swift oblivion.
