That's not completely correct. i'll agree with you that Pharasiism is probably dating to post-Exile times, but that's only elements -- modern Judaism is a continuation of the faith of the OT. Why would you say otherwise? really?

Jesus. ... and by saying that I am not trying to be neither sarcastic nor condescending. As I said before, there is a fundamental misunderstanding on the part of Rome when it comes to the connection between the OT and NT, and who is who ... and why.

Look at the Encyclopedia Judaica’s article on the Pharisees.
