Oh, very clever: predict the beginning of the end of the world, rather than the (end of the) end of the world so no one can call you out on having gotten it wrong.

At some level the beginning of the end of the world was the Day of Pentecost in the year of Our Lord’s Passion, Saving Death, Glorious Resurrection and Ascension, and we’ve been living through the end of the world ever since.

Isn’t Pentecost on June 12th this year. So Camping’s calculation for this is somewhat wrong.
