I guess I need some clarification on tag removal, etc. When Flying Inman were warned not to use the tag “Other Non-Christian” on threads about Mormonism I started using a [Non-Christian] title tag.

Is it now the official policy at FreeRepublic that Mormonism IS Christianity?

Thanks for posting.

Many people don’t know anything about the Kingdom of the Cults.

“My people perish for a lack of knowledge” comes to mind.

Just because everybody in the cult is pleasant, does not mean it’s not a cult.

Your tag was not "non-Christian" it was "anti-Christianity."

And as "non-Christian" the point would be redundant to the title of the article.

So can the tag “Other Non-Christian” be used?

probably not, but for argument’s sake, I agree with the title that Mormonism is not part of historic Christianity.

However, the religion forum rules do not permit intentionally inciting flame wars through manipulation of or parenthetical comment to titles of articles.

I would agree with that

As far as I’m concerned, the “Other Non-Christian” topic can be used and “[Non-Christian]” can be used as a comment in the title provided it doesn’t confuse posters, e.g. as if “Non-Christian” were a caucus.

I stand corrected on saying that I used [Non-Christian] when I actually used [Anti-Christian].

I stand by my choice of the descriptor [Anti-Christian]. Am I to understand that I am forbidden from making use of that descriptor?

Am I forbidden from using [Non-Christian] as a descriptor?

Is redundancy forbidden?

Well, thanks for the help and all, but your ability to read my mind isn’t all that great, and last I heard it isn’t permitted either.

Just in case anyone missed the previous 840 Mormonism-bashing threads.

I was "title-reading" and not "mind-reading". Your title was bullish on trollish.

Just out of curiosity, what was the purpose of the parenthesis...is it a caucus, a devotional, a comment, a what?

"Christianity was an abomination in God's sight."
~Joseph Smith

Joe Smith and Bring 'em Young were charlatans. Joe was a con man who was shot escaping prison. He still needs to be charged with the crime for ordering the destruction of the Nauvoo Printing Press. They are both fake prophets (anyone knows that who has any sense of reality). True proFits were realized by their confused and wreckless minions.

The mormon cult is the furthest thing from Christianity. The mormon Cult is blasphemous.

Any religion that says you’ll be a god in the afterlife is not Christianity. Only the devil would promise you such a thing.
