Dear Mary Lou, your tears are our tears, your sorrow is our sorrow. For one year we have prayed together for Israel, in earnest and with sincere feelings.
Today we pray also for you, for your tragic loss.
Know that we are your sisters and brothers in Christ and our love and support will be always here for you.
A big hug, sister, feel it.
I have just learned that our faithful prayer leader, “Left that other site” lost her husband to demonic lies that his life was not worth living.
Father, with a heavy heart that only You can lighten, we pray for this precious sister. You are the Comforter and the husband to the widows. Show her Your peace that passes understanding and guide all the decisions she needs to make in the coming days, weeks and months. We pray that You would send whatever helpers she needs. Strengthen her, Sir, strengthen her. Show her Your salvation in the land of the living.
I am without any additional words right now, God, and ask You for the fruitful prayer that is just groaning in my heart. So too the [Holy] Spirit comes to our aid and bears us up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for utterance.
Thank You for never leaving nor foresaking us. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
