Hey that’s great! It takes a whole bunch of “Christ like Love” to fill up your personal god planet, especially when wearing the magic jammies!

It is impossible for Mormons to haveor demonstrate "Christ like love" when they do not believe in the Christ of the Bible but in "another 'christ'"; the false "christ" of Mormonism.

It is impossible for Mormons to have or demonstrate "Christ like love" when they do not posess the Holy Spirit because!

"...the fruit of the Spirit is love..." (Galatians 5:22a)

Sounds good, if you don’t know the heresy buried in each line. Jesus didn’t bleed in the garden of Gethsemane. He carried our sins on the cross.

And that gives you reason to LOVE or “walk away”

Seems to me that both God and Christ will judge a mans heart.

1Cr 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

-----------------------------------------------------

You might want to reconsider your brash statemen, because you weren't there.

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Yes it is possible to sweat blood although it is very rare. The condition is called hermatidrosis. Dr Frederick Zugibe explains that there are many blood vessels around out sweat glands, they form a sort of net surrounding the gland. If these vessels are put under great stress the vessels constrict. When they release from this pressure they expand until they rupture. The blood molecules spread out and since they are so close the sweat gland they enter it. When the person sweats the sweat washes the blood our of the sweat gland and onto the skin. The sweat is not only made up of blood, but it has some blood in it, enough to notice that it is red.

Typically high levels of stress on a person will cause the stress on the blood vessels, anxiety and other aliments will not only force these blood vessels to constrict, but they will often make the person sweat. When the stress or anxiety leaves the person, the blood gets into the sweat gland.

You can see the Love of Christ NOT in many of these posts. Love is not blind.

Paul new what love is.....If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:1-13)

I seen the joy and the love in the words of your post and I thank you for them

Yes

He shed His Blood and died on the Cross to save us from the death penalty for our sins..

The Garden of Gethsemenee has nothing to do with the LORD Jesus Christ dying in our place or salvation..

only the decision to go through with what happened at Calvary...

(Not a garden but a garbage dump for refuse and dead animals)

To claim it all happened in the garden is to deny the power that is in the Blood He shed for us...

I am not getting the connection between Jesus being led to the garden of Gethsemane where he prayed to his father to take what he was about to do, away.

Mat 26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.

Mat 26:39 And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou [wilt].

This is where it began, the suffering and internal torment.

What happened in the Garden, does not in any way negated the final sacrifice on the cross. Rather, it enhances it.

Just my thoughts

The only false Christian is one who dares come between a soul and Christ in judgement.

Towards such a one, Jesus said quite plainly: ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’ “Then you will say, ‘We ate and drank with you, and you taught in our streets.’ But he will reply, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from. Away from me, all you evildoers!’ “There will be weeping there, and gnashing of teeth, when you see Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves thrown out. People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God. Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.” - Luke 13, 25-30

So there is error in the Mormon doctrine of Atonement and Salvation in Gethsemane that needs to be explained away to get Christians to lower their guard?

BTW, re-welcome to a "new" FR retread.

Of course the points made in the Bible, you know the book where your citation comes from, about false prophets and teachers, as well as their teachings, the parts about “snatching from the fire” those headed down the wrong path can now be ignored...

No one is coming between a soul and and Christ except to redirect it toward him because they are following a known false teacher or church. We are allowed to judge that, in fact it is our duty.

You too practice judgment on the very same issue when you decided to follow the faith you choice. You judged others.

It was said Jeffery Dalmer was very polite. Kindness won't conquer evil, only God will and that happen when his son was crucified on the cross and died for our sins.
