One of the first things truly educated people learn is the first rule of holes. When you’re in one, stop digging. Nobody ever taught you that?

You don’t see me here because I’m a tad busy taking care of home/school/kids and don’t have time for games like this. I never attacked you. I simply disagreed with your statement that you CAN’T be successful without a college degree. I never wrote anything personal or derogatory about you. I did not accuse you of not being pro-life.

Are you even reading my posts? I do value a GOOD education. I homeschool, for Pete’s sake! I went to college and earned a BS in Elementary Education. My husband has 6 years of college under his belt. Why would I think everyone that goes to college is a villain? I do not fear college! I just don’t think the world is going to come crashing down around us if everyone does not get a degree! That piece of paper does not guarantee success. There are many successful people without a degree. And what is wrong with getting married early, having kids and staying home with them? I absolutely LOVE my life and wouldn’t change a thing. Nothing I learned in college has been put to use in my current job.

I don’t know whose posts you are reading but they are certainly not mine!!

This is a typical exchange. There was one that started with the contention that all unioned government employees are selfless public servants, toiling endlessly for the public good without thought of reward, and when posters pointed out that government employees were storming the Wisconsin statehouse to avoid losing a little political clout, such posters were told they were evil people who wanted to throw quadriplegic Iraq War vets out of work. Even though the “teachers” marching in Wisconsin obviously weren’t paralyzed or anything.

All sensible participants went off to drink, eventually.
