OK. Here’s come quick thoughts:

If Revelation is an accurate portrayal of the future, then it would seem to indicate that there are animals in heaven since Jesus will return riding a white horse.

If things which do not have souls will not be in heaven, then creation is going to be disappointed since scripture says it is awaiting its liberation in Romans 8:19-21:
“The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.”

Are animals part of God’s creation? Yes.

I’ve had the same thoughts for years and used the same scripture to support it.

Jesus isn’t the only one to arrive on a horse either.

To me, it would not be Heaven if I can’t have my pets. Maybe that’s the flesh talking and when we finally stand in the Lord’s presence, we will only want to do his will.
