DeMoss says he's not sure if he's getting paid by Romney. So, no, I don't assume this -- & don't think you should, either. One thing I always try to steer clear of is judging inward motivations unless somebody's already expressed them -- or if the larger group they are in already clearly indicates with significant documentation what their motivations are.
