May I ask your prayers for a fallen soldier?

EATON, Ohio (WDTN) - Friends and family members paid their final respects to Private First Class Gustavo Rios-Ordonez on Sunday in Eaton.

Rios-Ordonez was killed on June 20th by a bomb in Afghanistan. The 25 year-old Eaton resident enlisted in the Army last year and was on his first tour overseas. He leaves behind a wife and two young daughters.

Prayers for PFC Rios-Ordonez and prayers of comfort for his family. Thank God for men like this soldier who give it all for our freedom.

I don’t live there anymore but my daughter does. She said they lined the streets when they brought the body home as well as for the procession to the cemetery.

Old, young, all with flags. I did see some video and pictures from the Dayton television stations. It brought tears to my eyes. While I did not know this young man, I do remember his young wife and her family from years ago.

Such a sad thing for the two little girls.
